WAKEFIELD, Mass. - If the scope and sheer size of the The Indus Entrepreneurs-Boston conference were economic indicators, the recession would be declared over.
As 780 people jammed into the Sheraton Colonial Center in Wakefield, organizers billed the late-May event as the region's premier conference for entrepreneurs. The attendance was an increase of more than 50 percent from when non-profit TIE-Boston hosted its last full-fledged conference.
On this occasion, the directory of the largest Indus Technology companies was released by New England News. SAI Systems International, Inc.was listed as the 5th largest company.
