Shelton, CT, USA is pleased to share its social responsibility through ''SAI Cares'', an initiative to reach out to the needy and under privileged through personal care as a commitment to society from where it gets its talented staff and generates earnings.
Dr. Ramesh Wadhwani, chairman of SAI who is also a devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba said "Corporate Social Responsibility has always been a priority for SAI Group of companies. Being a corporate citizen we believe in fostering excellence in our professional lives at the same time we also recognize that we as individuals have social obligations towards our community. Fortunes that flow in large parts from the society should also be returned back to some degree to the society so as to ensure sustained growth and enrichment of all. I am proud that our SAI mates are exemplary citizens having undertaken the 'SAI Cares' initiative which fulfills our social obligations towards the society. Some of the activities that have been undertaken by SAI Cares include visits to Manavya (http://www.manavya.org/) an NGO working to rehabilitate HIV/ AIDS infected children and women and to 'Sadhu Vaswani Mission' (http://www.sadhuvaswani.org/) a spiritual social welfare and non-profit institution which endeavors to reach its caring services to the poor. SAI mates also participate in social events like blood donation camps, regular distribution of free clothes and food.
