Shelton, CT, May 5th, 2009 - SAI Systems International Inc, (SAI Systems) was presented with the Supplier of the Year award, Category 3, by the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC). The award was presented at the GNEMSDC Annual Awards Banquet ceremony held at the Aquaturf Club on April 30th, 2009. SAI Systems was nominated for the award by two GNEMSDC Corporate members, United Technologies Corp. and Nestle Corp.
The Category 3 award recognizes Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with sales over $$10 million and under $50 million. SAI Systems was also named for the CMSDC Supplier of the Year Category 3 award in 2008. SAI Systems will now be submitted for national consideration to compete with other successful certified MBEs of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

In addressing a gathering of over 800 MBEs and corporates members of GNEMSDC that evening, Dr. Wadhwani shared his mantra with fellow MBEs on how he grooms and inculcates the SAI vision of PhD in his associates so that they can perform and deliver the best..
