Shelton, CT - Sai Systems International has been selected as the Northern Region 2016 Class III Regional Supplier of the Year Award from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Being selected for this prestigious honor makes Sai Systems eligible for National Supplier of the Year honors. The company’s success has distinguished Sai from the numerous other nominees in the Northern Region and deserves recognition.

The Supplier of the Year award is given annually to minority suppliers who have distinguished themselves and their businesses by successfully demonstrating growth in sales and employment while overcoming significant obstacles, consistently providing high quality products, services and solutions at competitive prices and significantly contributing to the growth and development of their community. This is a noteworthy honor, considering there are approximately 11,000 NMSDC-certified minority businesses across the countries that are eligible to be nominated. Sai Systems was nominated by two of their Northeast corporate clients Saint Francis Hospital and Perkin Elmer for Supplier of the Year Award. Dr. Wadhwani said, it reflects the hard work and dedication of our employees in serving Fortune-500 clients including Aetna, UTC, Sikorsky, United Rentals, BCBS, Perkin-Elmer, Saint Francis Hospital, Goldman Sachs and others.
