Application Development One of the world’s largest global food manufacturers with over $9 billion in sales was faced with a challenge of spending endless hours of manual effort behind consolidating financial reports and earnings across different business units and ensuring required regulatory documents and forms were updated.

Sai Systems developed a custom application for the customer leveraging Microsoft.NET framework and web services integration with SAP and other third party applications to automate the tax and finance reporting process saving nearly 1,000 man hours per month and reduced any manual errors.

Application Maintainance Leveraging our global delivery centers in US, Romania and India – Sai Systems established an application support model for a large auto-manufacturer with $156 billion in net sales and revenues. The application portfolio consisted of over 233 applications primarily used on their Service Operations and Delivery business. These applications were on diverse technology platforms and most of them were business critical applications.

Sai Systems implemented a tiered support model based on the complexities, expertise, and skill level required to resolve application issues and proactive application monitoring and sustainment activities. Over a period of time, our team was able to optimize the application portfolio and reduce cost for the client by over 33% in maintenance costs which resulted in several millions of dollars in savings.

Datawarehousing and ETL A leading healthcare insurance client had gone through multiple acquisitions and wanted to consolidate heterogeneous legacy data warehouses from different entities on to a common platform and establish an enterprise level extract-transform-load (ETL) framework.

Sai Systems with its experience in design and rollout of large global data hubs collaborated with the ETL software manufacturer to implement a parameterized framework and helped with migration of data from several other data warehouses to the new Enterprise Data Warehouse. The client benefitted through significant reduction in maintenance costs by eliminating 5 legacy data warehouses in to a single platform. Additionally it also helped cleanse, improve data quality and integrity.
