The client is a global technology leader in life and analytical sciences and is focused in the following businesses - Life and Analytical Sciences, and Opto electronics. The Company is a leading provider of scientific instruments, consumables, and services to the pharmaceutical, biomedical, environmental testing and general industrial markets.
The client was using legacy systems for managing its operations in Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Distribution and Production Planning across its global offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The client had implemented SAP software footprint at their headquarters with their facilities in North America. There was an equal processing need of integrating legacy systems running across locations with SAP applications, which improved the bottom-line and gave a positive impact on the company’s procurement, delivery, and financial performance. The client wanted to continue with the exercise by incorporating extensive implementation, enhancements and customizations of PP, MM, SD, and QM modules at their headquarters. The client wanted to deploy the system multilingual across different continents with compliance to local rules and regulations. This will provide the platform for a total integration and amalgamation of the company’s business via SAP in turn leading to cost efficiencies across its business units.
